On the 3rd of January, 2025 I was with a group of friends from my Church at a Tabernacle/Praise night, and went into a very visual encounter that I believe is a message for the Church in the beautiful nation of Australia.
As I attempt to adequately describe and interpret what I saw, I want to establish that this visual encounter came after our group had opened in prayer and declared some very key scriptures over 2025. I believe that the Lord took me into a spiritual dimension where I was able to see, firsthand, what He is wanting to do in the Church of Australia this year through meditation upon His Word. You will find these scriptures listed at the end.
This encounter was short and contained different “scenes,” but each scene was potent and led directly into the next.
The visual encounter opened with me suddenly finding myself standing amidst an army of believers in Australia. Each person had the sound of high praises coming forth from their mouths, and each also had a two-edged sword in their hands (Psalm 149). I began to see actual words – letters and all – coming from each mouth, but then the words and letters began to form a small buckler. I saw an army raging forward on the offense, swords raised and hearts positioned to take ground!
I then saw many mountains in Australia that had been corrupted, defiled and made barren by sin and a woke spirit. One such mountain looked like a volcano, ready to erupt and cause massive destruction across the land, but this raging army kept running forward in complete confidence, and they violently took each mountain as well as the volcano before it could erupt. This army never once put down the sword or the buckler, and the praise continued to flow from their mouths.
The scene changed and I was suddenly aware of many Churches who, in the past, had been in hiding behind tall shields. There were prayer meetings and prophetic groups and intercessors of all kinds, and they were still behind the stationary shields, defending the Church and the nation while others were marching forward offensively, violently taking back the nation for the Lord (Matthew 11:12). One group was mobile, one was stationary. I heard the Lord say, “The time of hiding behind the shields and in the prayer closets is done. Take up your sword and move. With gritty determination and fortitude, it's time to take back your land, Church of Australia!”
The scene changed again, and I saw prayer closets getting turning inside out, and people began to be the executioners of the long-time prayers that they had prayed. Again, my Spirit understood what the Lord was wanting to say. “It's time to be mobile in executing justice in your land. Continue to pray, continue to intercede – but you have a greater responsibility in 2025. It’s also time to act.” In this, I felt the sternness of a Father who was not desiring to repeat Himself again.
I then was taken in the Spirit to what looked like the heart of Australia. Suddenly, I saw and even physically tasted a red dust storm! It was thick and I could barely see. The Lord explained that this dust storm is not a bad thing – it is proof that this is the year that the Church of Australia will ARISE and begin to MOVE to violently take back Australia by force. He assured me that the red dust storm was a shield in itself, as just our offensive movements alone are enough to blind demonic forces and begin disarming the plans of the enemy.
The final scene was the hardest to watch. I saw ministers across the nation of Australia who had moved from a pure love of Jesus and the joy of salvation to an “empire building” mindset. The Lord reminded me that 2024 was leap year, and that in January of 2024 He had showed me that leap year was symbolic of a period of grace He was giving to these ministers to cry out for mercy and repent. At the time of this visual encounter I am writing about, it is January of 2025. In His kindness, God had me cry out and ask for MERCY and an extension of time for these ministers to humble themselves and repent. At the exact moment of this part of my encounter, one of my friends (who was leading this praise night and who knew nothing of where I was in this moment) began to ask God for mercy.
I suddenly saw a great humility over the Church (James 4:10). I saw ministers humbly ripping down the empires they had built for themselves, repenting and then beginning to repair the breaches in the nation that was caused by their own idolatry and sin (Isaiah 58:12). I was near weeping while watching these empires fall, and as the breaches in the CHURCH were repaired, the land began to heal (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Finally, the Lord reminded me that the Church is the first to be judged, and this 2025 is the year to take sober judgement of ourselves, our hearts, our motives and especially what we have been building on (1 Peter 4:17). We can no longer skip over this very clear directive from the New Testament.
He is issuing a call to soberly judge and to humble ourselves, seek His face and turn from our own ways, and then step out in partnership with His Spirit and TAKE BACK OUR LAND!
Church of Australia, 2025 can be the greatest year of taking territory that history has ever known. It is by HIS Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Do not miss this time.
